This opportunity is open to independent journalists, opinion leaders (including community leaders), vloggers, bloggers, civil society organizations, media outlets, and communication agencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Two projects will be awarded grants of up to \u20ac12,000 each, with the implementation period set between July 15 and November 15, 2025. The <strong>application deadline<\/strong> is June 27 at 6:00 PM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This competition is part of the \u201cCritical Support for Independent Media in Moldova (CRIMM)\u201d project, funded by the United Kingdom\u2019s International Development Programme and implemented by Internews in partnership with the Independent Journalism Center of Moldova.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The initiative seeks to fund impactful projects that:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Promote civic engagement and public participation, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Address topics such as European integration, democratic values, and civic responsibility, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Combat disinformation and propaganda, including in the electoral context, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Produce interactive and creative content, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Promote media and information literacy, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reach the public via online campaigns, storytelling, multimedia, innovative formats, and accessible platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants must:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Be residents of the Republic of Moldova; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Represent a legally registered organization in Moldova or, if applying as individuals, partner with a legal entity; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Use new technologies creatively for content production and distribution; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Show a clear intention to continue activities beyond the project duration; <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Be willing to collaborate with a mentor provided by IJC to ensure ethical, balanced, and stereotype-free content.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Evaluation Criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applications will be assessed by IJC and a panel of independent experts based on: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Quality and creativity of the project idea, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Coherence and feasibility of the activity plan, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Clarity of the monitoring and evaluation method, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Team experience and capacity to implement the project.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To be eligible, applicants must submit: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A project description using the standard form, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A detailed budget, including salary expenses, using the standard budget form, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Registration documents of the applicant organization, <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contact information.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants must commit to submit narrative and financial reports by the deadline if their project is selected for funding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applications should be sent via email to the Deputy Director of IJC, Anastasia Nani, at: <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"mailto:anani@ijc.md\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">anani@ijc.md<\/a>.
