The event spans two days and is part of the <strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"523\">NOMAD project<\/strong>\u2014a mobile extension of the Sounds Like a Book (SLB) residency program. <strong data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"624\">Participation is free.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"645\"><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"1015\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"673\">June 20 (18:00\u201320:00):<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"676\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The public is invited to a <strong data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"746\">presentation of the SLB book collection<\/strong>. Exhibition curator <strong data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"785\">Aliona Ciobanu<\/strong> will guide visitors through the SLB universe, explaining the concepts behind each volume. The selected works come from an international context and reflect a wide variety of styles and techniques developed during SLB residencies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1181\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1049\">June 21 (starting at 14:00):<\/strong><\/span><br data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1052\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Visitors can take part in a <strong data-start=\"1080\" data-end=\"1104\">Silent Reading Party<\/strong>, offering a quiet, personal space to reconnect with books at one\u2019s own pace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1720\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1227\">Sounds Like a Book (SLB)<\/strong> is a platform for creation and self-publishing, aimed at those interested in exploring the book as a medium of artistic expression. Since 2019, SLB has held four multidisciplinary editorial residencies in \u0218ona, Romania, which have resulted in an international collection of artist books. Driven by the desire to activate and reimagine the archive, the project explores new ways to present and interact with artistic books and sound compositions, beyond traditional art spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1720\">\n<p data-start=\"1739\" data-end=\"2027\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This event is organized by the SLB team, Aliona Ciobanu, and the Abstract-Press Association, in collaboration with C\u0103rture\u0219ti at the Museum.
