The event is organized by <strong>the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport (DGETS)<\/strong> and aims to identify and reward this year&#8217;s most successful graduates.<\/p>\n<p>According to the organizers, the competition aims to <strong>stimulate and support young people who have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic results, extracurricular activities and active involvement in society.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Participation categories<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The competition is divided into <strong>eight categories<\/strong> and <strong>two winners<\/strong> will be chosen in each category:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Best <strong>humanities<\/strong> graduate<\/li>\n<li>The best graduate in <strong>the real profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Best graduate in <strong>artistic profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Best graduate in <strong>information technologies<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Best <strong>innovative graduate<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Most active graduate promoting <strong>volunteering<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Best graduate in <strong>sports profile<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Most active graduate in the field of <strong>ecology<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How students can apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To enter the competition, students must <strong>submit an application file<\/strong> including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CV<\/strong> of the candidate<\/li>\n<li><strong>Copy of identity card<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>the decision of the teaching board <\/strong>of the educational establishment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transcript of marks<\/strong> with overall average after the first semester of the academic year 2024\/2025<\/li>\n<li><strong>Diplomas and certificates<\/strong> of academic and extracurricular performance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Evidence of participation in competitions, Olympiads and competitions<\/strong> (photos, publications, online links)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications will be reviewed <strong>by DGETS<\/strong> and each participant can apply for <strong>only one nomination.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be submitted to <strong>DGETS, 99, Mitropolit Dosoftei St., office 14<\/strong>, between <strong>May 5-13<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stages of the competition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>March 12<\/strong> &#8211; Publication of the rules<\/li>\n<li><strong>May 5-13<\/strong> &#8211; Submission and registration of applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>May 14-19<\/strong> &#8211; Evaluation of applications<\/li>\n<li><strong>May 30<\/strong> &#8211; Award ceremony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Awards for excellence<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The best graduate of the year will receive a <strong>prize of 10,000 lei and a diploma of merit<\/strong>. The winners of the other categories will be rewarded with <strong>7,000 lei and a diploma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Graduate of the Year 2025 is not just a competition, but also a <strong>recognition of excellence in education and community involvement<\/strong>.
