See how you can apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A groundbreaking project aims to change the future of space exploration by directly involving young girls around the world. ShakthiSAT, initiated by <strong>Space Kidz India<\/strong>, is an ambitious mission that will give <strong>12,000 girls from 108 countries the opportunity to participate in building and launching a satellite into lunar orbit.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project aims to select <strong>108 talented girls from each of the 108 participating countries<\/strong>, giving them the opportunity to learn, collaborate and contribute directly to the development of a real satellite. In addition, <strong>one student from each country<\/strong> will have the chance to travel to India from <strong>December 2025 to January 2026<\/strong> to participate in an intensive technology training program.<\/p>\n<p>The ShakthiSAT mission also includes <strong>108 ambassadors (Devis) from each country<\/strong>, who will play a key role in organizing and promoting the initiative at national level.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Why target girls?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Statistics show that only <strong>20% of jobs in the aerospace industry are filled by women<\/strong>. Through this project, <strong>Space Kidz India<\/strong> aims to bridge this gap and give girls the opportunity to develop their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) skills.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Every girl deserves to reach for the stars. The hands-on experiences will give them confidence, develop their analytical thinking and encourage them to become the science and technology leaders of the future,&#8221; say the organizers.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>How will the mission unfold?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The project includes several milestones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> March 3, 2025<\/strong> &#8211; deadline for completing the application form<\/li>\n<li><strong> March 18, 2025<\/strong> &#8211; launch of the educational curriculum<\/li>\n<li><strong> December 28, 2025<\/strong> <strong>&#8211; January 18, 2026<\/strong> &#8211; ambassadors and students from the 108 countries will gather in <strong>Chennai, India<\/strong>, for training and satellite construction<\/li>\n<li><strong> March 2026 <\/strong>&#8211; testing the satellite and ground station configuration<\/li>\n<li><strong> September 2026<\/strong> &#8211; launch of the satellite, according to the schedule set by <strong>the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>What will participants learn?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The workshops and trainings included in the program will cover topics such as:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Applied mathematics and physics in aerospace engineering<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Construction of satellite structures and orbital mechanics<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Electronic engineering and PCB design<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Amateur radio and space communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Fill out <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe-1GLm1HCN2hVNA8BpY7-EpzuZCJ4ELra1LrJInPhGWAzopA\/viewform\"><strong>the registration form<\/strong><\/a> by <strong>March 3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Young Moldovans interested in this opportunity can contact <strong>Steliana Burlacu, Ambassador for Moldova<\/strong>, at <strong>+373 60443513<\/strong> or by e-mail at <strong>steliana.burlacu@gmail.com.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ShakthiSAT mission is not only a technology project but also a <strong>global initiative to promote gender equality in science<\/strong>.
