The aim of the project is to support civil society actors in the Eastern Neighborhood to become actively involved and capable in monitoring electoral processes and promoting democratic accountability mechanisms.<\/p>\n<h3>About the call<\/h3>\n<p>The call is addressed to i<strong>ndependent media actors and civil society<\/strong> organizations in the Republic of Moldova that focus on monitoring and observing electoral processes. Selected organizations will be awarded grants of up to <strong>\u20ac8,000<\/strong> to develop their capacity over a period of <strong>6 months<\/strong> (1 April &#8211; 30 September 2025).<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this call is to support organizations to facilitate free and credible elections, promote political participation and combat hate speech and disinformation.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligible activities<\/h3>\n<p>The grants offered can be used for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Training courses and technical assistance<\/strong> in areas such as governance, strategic planning, public relations, human resources management, digital security, etc.;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Consulting and mentoring<\/strong> to develop or improve strategic documents, internal policies and organizational processes;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monitoring and evaluation of organizational development progress;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Other activities identified through the Organizational Capacity Self Assessment (OCA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ERIM will provide selected beneficiaries with a list of trainers and experts in organizational development, but organizations may also hire their own consultants with prior approval.<\/p>\n<h3>Eligibility criteria<\/h3>\n<p>To apply, organizations must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be registered under Moldovan law;<\/li>\n<li>Be active for at least <strong>2 years;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Have at least <strong>2 full-time employees;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The status and mission of the organization must be aligned with democratic principles and human rights;<\/li>\n<li>Have experience in monitoring electoral processes and disinformation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Attention!<\/strong> Applications from political or religious organizations are not eligible.<\/p>\n<h3>How to apply?<\/h3>\n<p>Applications, together with the self-assessment form, can be sent in Romanian or English to <strong>proelect.eap@proton.me<\/strong> until <strong>January 20, 2025, 18:00<\/strong>. In the subject of the e-mail, include the text: <strong>&#8220;ProElect &#8211; Capacity development for Moldova&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The necessary forms can be downloaded from the project website (<a href=\"https:\/\/civic.md\/userfiles\/attachments\/18450\/Formulare_aplicare.zip\">LINK<\/a>) or requested by e-mail. Applications translated with Google Translate are accepted.<\/p>\n<p>For clarifications, questions can be sent until <strong>January 5, 2025<\/strong> and answers will be provided at least 5 days before the deadline.<\/p>\n<h3>Information session<\/h3>\n<p>There will be an online Q&amp;A session for those interested in learning more about the terms and conditions of the competition.
