A new weekend spent at the Buiucani Youth Center!

In a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere, the Weekend at the Buiucani  Youth Center featured a series of interesting activities, providing participants with unique opportunities for socializing and development.

On Friday, April 19th, the Buiucani  Youth Center came alive with the game “Who Am I?”, a fun activity that served not only as a way to relax but also as an excellent opportunity to stimulate creativity and collaboration among the youth.

Similarly, game enthusiasts had the opportunity to enjoy an intense round of “Alias” at the board games club, developing quick reactions and originality in explaining words.

On Saturday, April 20th, the atmosphere was one of learning and interaction. Within the “Meet the Youth Workers” activity, young people interacted directly with youth workers, getting to know them from a different perspective.

And the “Oriental Night” activity was a special moment dedicated to the history and traditions of oriental dance. Participants had the privilege of hearing the captivating story of this artistic genre directly from the world champion in oriental dances, Vitalina Nesterova, who shared not only techniques and movements but also the essence and cultural significance behind these fascinating dances.

Every Friday and Saturday, #Weekend la Centru transforms the Rîșcani Youth Center into an energetic space where young people aged 14-35 gather to spend their leisure time in a friendly environment.

  • The 3D/4D Club provided participants with an exciting journey into the world of three-dimensional modeling. Enthusiastic young people had the opportunity to explore advanced techniques for modeling objects and fascinating characters in the virtual environment.
  • The Acting Club was a space where young people passionate about dramatic art freely expressed their creativity and talent.
  • The Board Games Club was a place full of energy and joy, where young people gathered to explore the fascinating world of strategic games.

#The weekend at the Ciocana Youth Center continues to offer a wide range of activities, supporting the development and involvement of young people aged 14-35, in a stimulating and inclusive environment.

#WeekendlaCentru is a program with captivating and educational opportunities aimed at promoting the development and community involvement of young people.

The objectives of the activities within #WeekendattheCenter are:

  • providing a safe and stimulating environment for socializing
  • developing skills and interests
  • actively engaging young people in the community

Organizers aim to create a safe and friendly environment where young people can realize their potential, socialize, and have fun at the same time.

Multiple sessions of interest clubs took place at the Municipal Youth Center Chișinău! See what they were.

Throughout the week of April 16th to April 20th, 2024, various interest clubs were held at the Municipal Youth Center Chișinău, such as:

  • Art Club
  •  Initiation Club in Speech and Acting Art
  • Cooking Club
  • Boys’ Club
  • Critical Thinking Club
  •  Legal Education Club

Each club aims to create a learning space in an informal atmosphere with and among young people!

Participation is absolutely free for young people aged between 14 and 35 years old!

Please note that each club takes place once every 2 weeks! Interest clubs are educational and social initiatives that provide young people with opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities in a non-formal and interactive environment. These clubs are designed to promote lifelong learning and personal development, providing a safe and inclusive space for young people to explore their interests and develop their skills.

The main purpose of interest clubs is to create a stimulating environment where young people can learn and grow alongside peers with similar interests. These clubs cover a wide range of fields, such as arts and culture, science and technology, social activism, sports, personal development, and much more.

Sports clubs provide an opportunity to promote physical health while developing social and teamwork skills. Board games stimulate strategic thinking and social interaction in a fun way. Debates encourage communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to articulate a point of view. Learning English and playing the guitar provide an opportunity to explore and enrich personal culture and creativity. All these activities contribute to personal development and strengthening social connections.

If you’re passionate about culinary art, join the cooking club for free, held every friday!

The Cooking Club takes place every Friday evening at the Municipal Youth Center of Chișinău and is led by Coralia Babcenco, a renowned trainer both nationally and internationally in culinary art.

With vast experience and a deep passion for cooking, Coralia Babcenco guides participants on a journey to uncover the secrets of the kitchen and culinary techniques.

Club participants have the opportunity to learn essential cooking principles, explore traditional and modern recipes, and develop practical culinary skills. These sessions provide an interactive and educational platform for young people, helping to improve their culinary abilities and nurture a passion for gastronomy.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center invites you to a discussion with the author of the book “Vibrations in Monochrome” – Petru Cliofos.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center invites young people passionate about art, creation and poetry to participate in a deep discussion with the Petru Cliofos, author of the book „Vibrations in Monochrome”. The event will take place on the 23rd of April,16:00, at the Center’s Headquarters, 90 Mitropolit Varlaam street.

The main theme of the discussion will be about the relation between he and she” explored through the prism of art, creation, poetic photography and photography poetry. Petru Cliofos will provide the participants a unique perspective on how the culmination of a relationship can be achieved through art, poetry and creation.

Participants will have the opportunity to enter into an interactive dialogue with the author, in this way having the opportunity to explore more deeply the themes and motives addressed in the book. Also, a detailed presentation of the book will be provided to motivate young people’s desire to know this literary work better.

This meeting promises to be a fascinating trave in the sensible world of interpersonal relations, in which art and creativity become means of expressing and understanding the complexity of human emotions.

A new meeting of young people for the english club, at the buiucani youth center

On Thursday, 18 April 2024, the English club took place at Buiucani Youth Center, in which the participants were challenged to test their accumulated vocabulary within the club and their personal limits.

The youth divided into teams of 2, had to extract different domains and had limited time to say as many specific words for that domain.

Through these challenges, the participants exchanged new words, practiced their pronunciation and trained their thinking in a foreign language.

English club sessions provide an excellent opportunity for the interested youth to exceed the speaking barrier in a foreign language, to enrich practical knowledge and self-development.

The unique presentation and award ceremony of film scripts!

On Thursday, May 9th, the presentation and award ceremony of the nine feature film scripts developed within the LitFilm Cinematography Dramaturgy Laboratory, Edition I, 2022-2024, will take place. The event will be held at Mediacor, Screening & Event Hall, on Alexei Mateevici Street No. 60, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM with an introduction and official opening. Participants will have the opportunity to present the nine feature film scripts, with each allocated 10 minutes to present the synopsis and their experience in adapting a novel into a film script. The program will continue with a question and answer session about the LitFilm project, followed by awards and the closing of the event at 6:30 PM. From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, guests and participants will enjoy a special reception.

The event will be attended by the authors of the adapted literary works, mentors, and jury members from Bucharest, as well as participants who worked on the scripts. This ceremony offers an excellent opportunity to discover emerging talents in the film industry and celebrate the efforts of participants in adapting literary works into feature film scripts.
