A new paddle session at the Buiucani Youth Center

On Wednesday, April 24, at 16:00, the Padel session of the sports club took place at the Buiucani Youth Centre.

After an intensive warm-up led by the iPadel Academy coaches, the youngsters engaged in a series of exercises designed to improve their playing skills, reminding them of how to pass the ball.

Friendly matches between pairs of two youngsters took place on the paddle courts to practise the rules of the game according to the players on the court.

We invite interested young people to the next session, which will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 16:00, at the Buiucani Youth Centre, “La Izvor” Park, Ghidighici Street.

Visit of Mr. Rob Condon, founder and director of the Wilmington Academy of Young Scientists at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center had the honor of hosting a visit from Mr. Rob Condon, founder and director of the Academy of Young Scholars in Wilmington, North Carolina.

During his visit, Mr. Condon had the opportunity to explore our facilities, discovering the diversity of programs and activities we offer to the youth of Chisinau municipality.

During our discussions, we were pleased to explore possibilities for future collaboration and partnerships between the Wilmington Academy of Young Scientists and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center. Both institutions share a common vision to promote excellence in education and youth development, especially in the field of science.

Students from the Centre of Excellence in Construction were informed about opportunities at the Youth Centres.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre annually carries out the Campaign “I am young – I am informed” in high school, secondary and university schools. Through this campaign, youth workers discuss with young people the opportunities offered by youth centres in Chisinau.

In a new session of the campaign, they discussed with young people from the Centre of Excellence in Construction.

The mission of an information session is to facilitate access to relevant information and opportunities for young people and to contribute to the formation of an educated generation connected to available resources.

Through open dialogue and active interaction with students, youth workers aim to create an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas, questions and experiences. Thus, the information session aims to become a moment of education and inspiration, stimulating the active involvement of young people in community life and promoting the values of solidarity, responsibility and personal development.

The Mobile Team of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre informed young people in the area of the UNIC Shopping Centre!

The mobile team of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre went out in the heart of the city to inform and interact with young people in the UNIC Shopping Centre area.

The Mobile Team, composed of young volunteers and youth workers, had an active and dynamic presence in this central area of the city, providing information about the Youth Centres in Chisinau. Through this initiative, the aim was to strengthen the link between young people and the resources available for their personal and professional development.

The main purpose of the action was to familiarize young people with the services and programs offered by the Youth Centres, highlighting the opportunities for non-formal education, volunteering and active recreation available to them. At the same time, information was provided about upcoming events organised by the Youth Centres, as well as ways to get involved in the community.

Through such initiatives, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre reaffirms its commitment to young people in the community and continues to promote their active participation in the social and cultural life of the city.

The next outing of the mobile team will be on Saturday, 27 April in the Cathedral Park, starting at 16:00! If you see the mobile team, don’t hesitate to come along and get to know the opportunities offered by the Youth Centres!

 

ConQUIZtador at the Ciocana Youth Center

Ciocana Youth Center invites you to test your knowledge and stimulate your critical thinking by participating in the game ConQUIZtador! The event will take place on April 26, 2024, starting at 18:00. An evening full of intellectual challenges and competitiveness awaits.

The game ConQUIZtador will include questions from various fields, including general culture and information about the Youth Centre, giving you the opportunity to enrich your knowledge in a fun and friendly environment.

Participation is completely free and open to young people between the ages of 14 and 35.

Buiucani Youth Center invites you to the english club

BUIUCANI YOUTH CENTER INVITES YOU TO THE ENGLISH CLUB

This Thursday, April 25, at 17:00, will be a new session of the English club with the theme: Easter Is Right Around the Corner.

The English Club promotes learning and practicing English in a friendly and safe environment. The club offers conversation sessions, cultural and social activities.

The aim of the club is to create an interesting environment where young people can practice and develop together with other young people with the same interests.

Participants will have the opportunity to enrich their subject-specific vocabulary, overcome the fear of speaking in a foreign language and spend time productively.

Buiucani Youth Centre Mobile Team in action

On Tuesday, April 23, the mobile team of the Buiucani Youth Centre went out in the Calea Ieșilor street area. The aim of this programme is to introduce young people from the Buiucani sector to the exciting and free opportunities and activities offered by the Buiucani Youth Centre.

The team is made up of dedicated members trained to provide detailed information and answer questions from young people about the resources and programs available at the centre. The mission of the mobile team is to create an open and constructive dialogue with young people, encourage them to get involved and benefit from the resources and activities offered for their personal and professional development.

On Saturday 27 April, the mobile team will continue to inform young people about free opportunities and leisure activities in La Izvor Park.

Young people found out about their personal needs and those of their teams at the Ciocana Youth Centre!

The Ciocana Youth Centre continues to provide opportunities for young people to develop multilaterally. On Tuesday 23 April, a new training took place as part of the Personal Development Programme. The host of the session was Mihai Popescu, and the topic he addressed was “Personal needs vs. team needs“.

During the session were discussed:

  • personal needs vs. team needs
  • team development stages
  • team structure
  • role of members
  • the EAP model
  • types of leader

Participants had the opportunity to learn how to manage the balance between personal needs and those of the group to which they belong. This involves exploring how they can collaborate effectively and meet their individual goals while contributing to the collective success of the team.

The Personal Development Programme trainings take place every week on Tuesdays, starting at 16:30, at the Ciocana Youth Centre, Petru Zadnipru Street 3/2.

Youngsters engaged in an interesting discussion with the author of “Vibrations in Monochrome” – Petru Cliofos

Youngsters were part of a captivating discussion with the author of the book “Vibrations in Monochrome” – Petru Cliofos. The meeting took place at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, with the central theme being the exploration of the relationship between “him and her” in its various artistic aspects.

Petru Cliofos, known for his innovative approach in literature, shared surprising perspectives with the participants on how art, poetry, and creation can reach the peak of a relationship. Through poetic photography and photographic poetry, the author provided a profound insight into the world of feelings and emotions, emphasizing the importance of expressing them through art.

Participants had the privilege of engaging in an interactive dialogue with the author, having the opportunity to delve deeply into the themes and motifs addressed in the book. During the discussion, aspects such as the nature of interpersonal relationships, the subtleties of communication, and how art can influence and sublime these aspects were debated.

Additionally, a detailed presentation of the book was offered, in an attempt to motivate young people to explore this literary work more deeply. Following the meeting, participants left with a fresh perspective on relationships and a desire to explore more of the world of art and literature, inspired by the words and ideas conveyed by author Petru Cliofos.

The mobile youth center has reached the Rîșcani sector!

We’re back with youth outreach activities in the sector as part of the Municipal Program “Mobile Youth Center.”

Volunteers from the Rîșcani Youth Center have initiated actions to inform young people in the sector about the opportunities, projects, and programs they can benefit from at youth centers in the city of Chisinau!

Our aim is to reach as many young people as possible to inform them and increase their level of involvement in volunteer actions, as well as to learn about the free development opportunities they can have in safe and friendly spaces.

The Mobile Youth Center involves the movement of young volunteers with youth workers to parks, neighborhoods, all sectors, and suburbs of Chisinau using scooters and the microbus available at the Youth Center, to provide young people from various areas of the city with information about the Youth Centers.
