The Municipal Youth Center of Chișinău and its branches were present at Europe Day in the Great National Assembly Square!

The Municipal Youth Center of Chișinău was honored to participate along with its branches at the European Town. Youth Centers in Chișinău, under the auspices of the municipality of Chișinău, presented the Youth Tent on Europe Day in the Great National Assembly Square!

It hosted a series of captivating activities designed to provide young people from Chișinău with opportunities to engage and connect with European and local initiatives.

The program of activities was diverse, with the most important being the presentation sessions.

  • Presentation session of the “Chișinău, European Youth Capital” initiative (EYC) – We discussed what this title means, what we need to do in the coming period, and more. Additionally, Petru Grecu, the director of the Center and the session moderator, made a public call for participation in various focus groups to develop a comprehensive activity plan.
  • Presentation session of the activities and opportunities at the Youth Centers in the city – We detailed to the youth what services the centers provide, what opportunities they can benefit from. Also, as we approach five years of activity, we discussed our successes, as well as future plans!
  • Information session on youth funding instruments – The Municipal Center for Entrepreneurship Development presented three instruments for young entrepreneurs, including free courses, financing of investment projects. Additionally, they talked about the First Business Incubator.

Throughout the day, a raffle with over 65 personalized prizes was organized. Youth were challenged to answer questions about centers and general knowledge.

Youth workers and volunteers provided information and informative materials about free projects for youth in the city.

The event brought together youth from all corners of the city, providing them with unique opportunities for learning, engagement, and fun in a European atmosphere.

Ciocana Youth Centre informs young people about opportunities offered through the mobile team

On 8 May, the mobile team of the Ciocana Youth Centre went out in the sector to inform young people about the benefits and opportunities available at the Youth Centres in Chisinau.

The objectives of this action are:

  • To inform as many young people as possible about the facilities offered by the Ciocana Youth Centre;
  • To promote the various services and programs available in the centre;
  • Encouraging young people to get involved in activities aimed at developing their personal and social side, in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The Riscani Youth Centre volunteers were in the spotlight on the eve of Europe Day!

The Riscani Youth Centre volunteers were in the spotlight on the eve of Europe Day, through their active involvement in local sector events, organised with pomp and enthusiasm by the Riscani City Hall. These young people from the community brought a special touch to the event by participating in a flashmob full of energy and creativity.

The event was an occasion to celebrate European diversity and unity, and the volunteers were at their best in conveying this message through their activities. With their youthful enthusiasm and commitment to core European values, these young people managed to convey a strong message of unity and diversity in their community.

The active participation of the Riscani Youth Centre volunteers highlighted once again the importance of social involvement and community spirit in building a more united and vibrant society. Through their contribution to strengthening community ties, these young people have demonstrated that they are a positive and inspiring force in their community.

In Chisinau, the process of questioning young people aged 14-35 continues!

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre continues to survey young people in the framework of the Municipal Survey on identifying the needs of young people in the municipality of Chisinau.

This year about 1,800 young people will be interviewed. The questions will cover a wide range of topics, from education and opportunities for personal and professional development to the social and cultural concerns of young people.

The results of the survey will be presented and discussed at the Municipal Youth Forum in May. This platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas will provide an opportunity for local authorities and community organisations to better understand the needs and wishes of young people, thus facilitating the development of policies and programmes tailored to the real needs of this age group.

Through active participation in the survey, young people in Chisinau have the opportunity to make their voices heard and help shape the future of their community.

The Youth Tent presents free opportunities for young people on Europe Day, 9 May 2024!

In the spirit of unity and European collaboration, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre is pleased to invite you to the Youth Tent dedicated to Europe Day. The Youth Tent will be the epicentre of enthusiastic activities and opportunities for young people in Chisinau to get involved and connect with European and local initiatives.

Programme of activities:

  • 12:00 – Official opening of the European Village: We start Europe Day with a festive moment dedicated to the official opening of our Youth Tent.
  • 13:00 – Quiz with prizes
  • 13:00 – Announcement of the collection of slogans and graphics for Chisinau, European Youth Capital (EYC) 2027
  • 13:30 – Presentation session of the initiative Chisinau, European Youth Capital (EYC)
  • 14:10 – MasterClass of drawing on canvas
  • 14:30 – Presentation session of the activities and opportunities of the Youth Centres in the municipality, Q&A with visitors
  • 15:30 – Information session on youth funding instruments
  • 16:00 – Quiz with prizes

Throughout the day, from 12:00 to 19:00, our youth workers and volunteers will be available to provide information and information materials about free projects for young people in Chisinau municipality.

Free personal development sessions for young people aged 14 – 17 at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre. See details in the article!

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre is launching a series of free personal development sessions aimed at giving young people aged 14-17 the opportunity to explore their potential and develop the skills essential for personal and professional success.

Under the guidance of trainer Zinaida Soroceanu, participants will have the chance to explore various aspects of personal development.

Here are the sessions:

  • Self-Discovery – 07 May
  • Time and priority management – 14 May
  • Effective communication – 21 May
  • Social responsibility and citizenship – 28 May
  • Self-Regulation and Self-Control – June 4
  • Social skills development – 11 June
  • Developing Healthy Relationships – 18 June
  • Parent-child relationship – 25 June

These sessions will give young people the opportunity to learn and apply practical knowledge and strategies to improve their lives and become active and responsible members of society.

Free sessions on social etiquette at Riscani Youth Centre. See details in the article!

The Riscani Youth Centre opens its doors to young people eager to improve their social skills and gain confidence in any situation. The Social Etiquette course, part of the Youth Personal Development Programme, is waiting for those interested to sign up to discover the secrets of elegant presence and effective communication.

During these free sessions, participants will have the opportunity to learn from an expert in the field, Ms Zinaida Soroceanu, who will share her knowledge and experience in social etiquette. From how to improve their posture and gestures to the art of conversation and basic rules of behaviour in various social situations, participants will be guided step by step to develop their confidence and skills in social interactions.

The application period for these sessions is between 1 and 7 May 2024.

Botanica Youth Centre is recruiting volunteers!

Botanica Youth Center is excited to announce the opening of the recruitment period for enthusiastic young people eager to make a difference in their community. From May 1st to May 14th, 2024, young people are invited to join the volunteer team and make their mark on the personal development and leisure activities of young people in the area.

Young people can volunteer in the following two services:

  1. Personal Development and Leisure Activities Service for Young People: Here, young people will be involved in organizing and conducting activities aimed at encouraging personal development and providing opportunities for leisure time in a fun and educational way. These include Interest Clubs, the Municipal Personal Development Program, and the “Weekend at the Center” Leisure Program.
  2. Volunteering and Youth Information Service: Young people who join this service will have the opportunity to participate in organizing and conducting the Center’s information and promotion activities. These include the Mobile Youth Center, Information Campaigns, the Film Festival, and Volunteer Week.

The benefits of becoming a volunteer at the Botanica Youth Center are numerous. In addition to the opportunity to contribute to the community and develop important skills, volunteers will have the chance to expand their network of contacts, experience teamwork, and make constructive use of their free time, all while experiencing personal satisfaction.

The Mobile Team of the Buiucani Youth Center Hits the Field!

On Tuesday, April 30th, the mobile team of the Buiucani Youth Center went out to Alunelul Park.

Volunteers informed young people aged 14 to 35 about the free opportunities and services available for youth. The main goal was to inform about the new opportunities, activities, and clubs of the Buiucani Youth Center.

The mission of the mobile team is to create an open and constructive dialogue with young people, encourage them to get involved, and benefit from the resources and activities offered for their personal and professional development.

On Friday, May 3rd, the mobile team will continue to inform young people about free opportunities and leisure activities in La Izvor Park.
