Chisinau Youth Centres invites you to join the Mobile Team, an innovative initiative to bring information about Youth Centres directly to your community. If you are passionate about volunteering and want to make a difference in the lives of young people in Chisinau, now is the perfect time to get involved!

What is the Mobile Team?

The Mobile Team is made up of enthusiastic young volunteers who work with youth workers to visit parks, neighbourhoods and all parts of the city, including the suburbs. Using the scooters and minibus available at the Youth Centre, the team travels to share essential information about the activities and opportunities offered by the Youth Centres.

What will you do as a volunteer?

As part of the Mobile Team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Interact directly with young people in different areas of the city. Provide information about events, workshops, courses and other activities organised by the Youth Centres.
  • Promote the activities of the Youth Centre. You will distribute information material and answer questions from those interested.
  • Contribute to a better informed community. Help connect young people with resources and opportunities that can help them develop personally and professionally.

Mobile Team in Ciocana sector

On 22 May, the mobile team of the Ciocana Youth Centre went out to inform young people about the services and programmes available in the Youth Centres in Chisinau municipality.

The volunteers informed young people aged 14-35 about the time management and personal development activities provided by the Youth Centres. They were informed about interest clubs, personal development programs, recreational and volunteer activities.

Beneficiaries were encouraged to participate in social activities in a friendly and fun environment.

Effective communication learned by young people at the Social Etiquette Course

The Riscani Youth Centre hosted a session on “Effective Communication”, part of the Social Etiquette Course within the Youth Personal Development Programme, with Zinaida Soroceanu, an expert in education and relational communication.

This session aimed to develop young people’s communication skills, giving them the tools to interact successfully in various social and professional contexts. The trainer covered essential topics such as the art of conversation, active listening, nonverbal language and how to convey clear and effective messages.

Participants had the opportunity to engage in practical activities and interactive exercises designed to improve their communication skills and provide constructive feedback.

The Social Etiquette course within the Youth Personal Development Programme, run by the Riscani Youth Centre, continues to be a valuable platform for young people, providing them with access to courses and training sessions to enhance their social skills and maintain self-confidence in any situation.

Ciocana Youth Centre: A New Step in the Personal Development of Young People

The Ciocana Youth Centre is pleased to announce the success of the personal development programme held at the centre. This event brought together young people eager to develop their skills and discover new passions in a friendly and stimulating environment.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of choosing appropriate outfits for different events, be it formal occasions, job interviews or casual meetings. The mobile team of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre went out in the heart of the city to inform and interact with young people in the “Stefan cel Mare” Public Garden area!

The Mobile Team, composed of young volunteers and youth workers, had an active and dynamic presence in this central area of the city, providing information about Youth Centres in Chisinau. Through this initiative, the aim was to strengthen the link between young people and the resources available for their personal and professional development.

The main purpose of the action was to familiarize young people with the services and programs offered by the Youth Centres, highlighting the opportunities for non-formal education, volunteering and active recreation available to them. At the same time, information was provided about upcoming events organised by the Youth Centres, as well as ways to get involved in the community.

Through such initiatives, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre reaffirms its commitment to young people in the community and continues to promote their active participation in the social and cultural life of the city.

The next outing of the mobile team will be on Saturday, 25 May at the Arc de Triomphe, starting at 16:00!

A session about “Time and Priority Management” at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre

Session about “Management of time and priorities” at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, with Zinaida Soroceanu. This session is part of the Youth Personal Development Program.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to learn essential strategies for effective time management and prioritization, crucial to achieving personal and professional goals. Among the topics discussed were:

  • Techniques for organizing and planning daily activities.
  • Identifying and ranking priorities.
  • Methods to avoid procrastination and maximize productivity.
  • Using digital tools for time management.

In continuation of this personal development program, we invite young people between the ages of 14 and 17 to participate in the next session, entitled “Effective Communication”. This will take place on May 28, at 17:00, at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center. Every Friday, teenagers aged 14-17 gather at the Youth Centers in Chișinău to spend their leisure time engagingly within the #WeekendAtTheCenter Program!

An essential aspect of the #WeekendAtTheCenter Program is its emphasis on non-formal education and the development of socio-emotional skills. Youth have the opportunity to discover their talents and explore their passions in a friendly and stimulating environment.

Participation in these activities helps youth expand their social networks and build strong connections with other young people with similar interests.
