Training session for volunteers and youth information from Youth Centres in Chisinau!

Volunteers from the Volunteering and Youth Information Service from Youth Centres in Chisinau participated in a training session aimed at developing communication skills when in the field with the Mobile Team!

The Mobile Team volunteers are the ambassadors of the Youth Centres. The mission of the Mobile Team is to familiarise young people with the services and programmes offered by the Youth Centres, highlighting the non-formal education, volunteering and active recreation opportunities available to them.

At the same time, this session contributes to the training of ambassadors both personally and professionally, in order to deliver the message to different age groups, depending on the interests of the young people.

In the next period, the mobile team of the Youth Centres will be present in various locations of Chisinau municipality! If you see the mobile team, don’t hesitate to approach and get acquainted with the opportunities offered by the Youth Centres!

“Duel between boys and girls” at Ciocana Youth Centre

The Ciocana Youth Centre is pleased to invite you to an activity entitled “Duel between boys and girls”, which will take place on Saturday, June 15, starting at 14:00. The event promises an energetic and fun-filled atmosphere where gender-segregated groups will compete in teams to win.

The competition will include a variety of challenges, including fun challenges and general knowledge questions designed to test the skills and knowledge of participants. The aim of the event is to promote collaboration, team spirit and fair play, giving young people the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity.

“Non Games” Activity at Ciocana Youth Centre

The “Non Games” activity is dedicated to promoting socialization, cooperation and fun through non-competitive games and group activities. Chisinau Municipal Youth Center Hires Specialist in the Use of Telescope for Astronomical Observations

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center announces the opening of a new position for astronomy and science enthusiasts! We are looking for a Telescope Specialist for astronomical observations at the Buiucani Youth Center to join our team dedicated to developing and promoting scientific knowledge among young people.

Main responsibilities:

  • Use and maintenance of the telescope for observing astronomical phenomena.
  • Organize and coordinate astronomical observation sessions for young people.
  • Developing and presenting educational materials on astronomical topics.

The mobile team of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre in action in Cathedral Square area!

The mobile team of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre went out in the heart of the city to inform and interact with young people in the Cathedral Square area!

The Mobile Team, composed of young volunteers and youth workers, had an active and dynamic presence in this central area of the city, providing information about Youth Centres in Chisinau. Through this initiative, the aim was to strengthen the link between young people and the resources available for their personal and professional development.

The main purpose of the action was to familiarize young people with the services and programs offered by the Youth Centres, highlighting the opportunities for non-formal education, volunteering and active recreation available to them. At the same time, information was provided about upcoming events organised by the Youth Centres, as well as ways to get involved in the community.

Through such initiatives, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre reaffirms its commitment to young people in the community and continues to promote their active participation in the social and cultural life of the city.

The next outing of the mobile team will be on Saturday, June 15, on the street “Eugen Doga”, starting at 16:00!

Ciocana Youth Centre invites you to the Open Air Film for Youth!

The Ciocana Youth Centre continues to provide educational and recreational opportunities for young people through various activities. Every week we organize the Youth Film Festival, an event dedicated to promoting the art of cinema and developing the critical and creative skills of participants of different ages.

The festival includes screenings of films specially selected for young people, designed to stimulate critical thinking and encourage free expression. Promoting values such as:

  • Inclusion and cultural diversity
  • Creative use of leisure time
  • Developing analytical and artistic skills
  • Discovering and exploring cinematic passions

Participating in the Youth Film Festival provides an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development, contributing to a community of passionate and engaged young people.

The Festival takes place every Friday, starting at 21:00, in the Amphitheatre near the Ciocana District Pretura.

Participate in the “Hiking” activity, which will take place in Riscani Forest Park on June 18!

In June, the Ciocana Youth Centre continues to host a variety of activities, offering all categories of young people opportunities to spend the summer in a fun way, while developing their skills.

On Tuesday 18 June, from 13:00 to 15:00, in the Riscani Park-forest, there will be the activity ”Hiking”, where young people have the opportunity to socialize, spending time in a pleasant and interesting way, and at the end of the hike there will be activities in nature. They will enjoy a friendly atmosphere with good music, participating in board games and other group bonding activities.

To ensure your comfort and safety during the activity, the organisers recommend comfortable footwear, sportswear and snacks.

Participation is absolutely free for young people aged 14 – 35! To participate in the activity, fill in the registration form HERE.

If you have books at home that you don’t need, you can donate them for the street library at the Botanica Youth Center!

The Botanica Youth Center is launching a book donation campaign for the Center’s Street Library!

From June 12 to 16, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, you can bring the books you want to donate to the Botanica Youth Center at Dacia Blvd. 37/1. You can donate any type of book – whether it’s novels, specialized literature, or anything else you enjoy. Each donated book will bring smiles and encourage reading among the youth and beyond.

The Street Library is set up in the Youth Square at the Botanica Youth Center. The opening event of the library, under the motto “The Book Closer to the YOUTH,” will take place on Saturday, June 15, at 5:00 PM! We look forward to seeing you!

Marathon at Buiucani Youth Center on June 15: Activity for All Youth

Table Tennis Championship for amateurs, this Saturday, June 15, at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center!

Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre invites you to the Table Tennis Championship – A competition full of energy and talent for young people passionate about sports and competition.

The event will take place on 15 June 2024, starting at 15:00, at Mitropolit Varlaam 90 Street.

The championship is dedicated to amateurs from Chisinau who love to test their table tennis skills and have fun in a friendly competition. Participants will have the chance to demonstrate their agility and concentration in intense and adrenaline-filled matches.

Prize details are as follows:

  • First prize: 500 lei
  • Second prize: 300 lei
  • Third prize: 200 lei
