Cultural Evening, organized by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center: A Memorable Show Full of Talent and Energy

This event dedicated to promoting young artists from Chisinau. The show took place on July 6 and gathered a large number of enthusiastic spectators.

Performers with different styles of interpretation performed on stage, giving uniqueness to the event. Each artist brought originality and energy to the show, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The audience was able to appreciate the talent and passion of the young artists, who dedicated themselves entirely to their performance.

This edition of the Cultural Evening was a success, with lots of talent and positive energy. The spectators were impressed by the diversity of the show and the talent of the artists, giving them applause at the end of each performance.

The success of this edition motivates them to continue this project and to organize new performances of the Cultural Evenings. We want to provide a good launching pad for the city’s young artists and create opportunities for them to showcase their talent to a wider audience.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of this edition of the Cultural Evening: the talented artists who took part in the performance, the enthusiastic spectators who filled the Chekhov Theatre Square and those who dedicated themselves with great passion to its organization.

The boys are invited to a session on health and fitness at the Chitinau Municipal Youth Center!

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center invites all boys to the Boys’ Club. The session will take place on Saturday, June 6, starting at 4:00 p.m., at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, and will be a session dedicated to health and fitness.

What to expect: In this session, we focus on improving overall health and promoting an active lifestyle through dynamic and informative activities:

  • Presentations and discussions: We will discuss the importance of balanced nutrition and exercise in maintaining health.
  • Practical Exercise: We will try to place value on practical advice and exercise demonstrations to promote fitness and physical well-being.
  • Question and Answer Sessions: Opportunity to ask other health and fitness boys club participants questions.

Who the event is for: All guys are welcome to attend and join our discussions about health and ways to stay fit in a friendly environment. The boys club is open to all young men between the ages of 14 and 35 and is free to join.

In a far-reaching initiative aimed at boosting the involvement of young people in civic life and supporting Chisinau’s candidacy for the title of European Youth Capital 2027, Chisinau City Hall, Chisinau Municipal Youth Center organize the “Chisinau for European Youth Capital 2027” Summer School .

The event promises to be an important milestone for young people in the capital and beyond, offering them a unique platform for learning and collaboration.

What does the Summer School entail?

The main aim of the Summer School is to bring together young people from various backgrounds, including Chisinau youth centres, youth councils, student councils, non-governmental youth organizations and student associations. This diversity will create a dynamic environment where participants will be able to discuss, exchange ideas and discover new opportunities for personal and professional development.

It’s a unique opportunity to be involved in a range of exciting activities, meet new people and have fun together in a friendly environment.

During the summer school, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Discuss the action plan for Chisinau’s candidacy for the title of European Youth Capital 2027: This will be a crucial time to gather ideas and suggestions, ensuring that the action plan reflects the wishes and needs of young people in Chisinau.
  • Analyze the activities proposed by young people at the Municipal Youth Forum: This is an excellent opportunity to evaluate and refine the ideas that have already been presented, ensuring that they are feasible and beneficial to the community.
  • Upcoming Programs Revealed: New programs for youth organizations, student councils and student associations will be unveiled. These programs are intended to support the development and involvement of young people in various civic and community activities.

In the middle of the city, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center hosts a special musical event – Cultural Evening, designed to provide a break for relaxation and joy for the young people of Chisinau. This Saturday, July 6, starting at 5:00 p.m., Chekhov Square will be transformed into a meeting place for lovers of music and a pleasant atmosphere.

The event will bring together young people from various corners of the city to enjoy moments of relaxation under the open sky. With a great selection of live music, attendees are invited to put their worries aside and enjoy every tune in a friendly and distinguished atmosphere.

Outdoor films organized for young people, free of charge, in Chisinau!

Events that bring people together in a friendly and educational way are becoming rarer and more precious. In this context, the open-air movie nights organized by the Chisinau Youth Centers represent not only an opportunity for entertainment, but also an important opportunity for young people to socialize.

These events take place in three central locations of the city: Ciocana, Buiucani and Botanica, this weekend. Screenings are planned for:

  • Friday, July 5 in the Ciocana sector, at the Ciocana Amphitheater, 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 6 in the Buiucani sector, at Park – Pădure Butoiaș, 8:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 7 in the Botanica sector, at Sarmizegetusa Park, 8:30 p.m

Film nights encourage young people to explore and understand cultural diversity through cinema. Each film that will be selected together with the participants brings to the fore stories and perspectives from different worlds. Moreover, outdoor screenings encourage social interaction and community connection. The Mafia game is like a mind maze where each participant tries to trick the others while hiding their identity and betraying the alliances of the game members, leading to unpredictable confusion. The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center invites you to join an evening full of mystery and intrigue with other excited young people, at Mafia Day!

Why participate?

Teamwork is important in all fields, and board games play a significant role in developing young people’s collaborative skills. These games teach participants to communicate effectively, collaborate toward a common goal, and manage conflict by communicating assertively.

By participating in the Mafia game, you will learn to practice your leadership skills, develop your ability to make informed decisions and improve your strategic thinking.

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center invites all young people who are passionate about strategies, who want to develop their deduction skills and who want to socialize with other young people who are passionate about games. We are waiting for you to be a part of this addictive mafia game. Become a detective or play the role of a criminal and discover who is hiding the mysterious truth!

Mafia Day will take place on Friday, July 5, starting at 5:00 p.m., at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center!

Family Quest: Quest for everyone!

Family Quest took place in La Izvor park, which unites families and promotes inclusive education in Chisinau.

On June 29, La Izvor park became a point of attraction for families who love outdoor activities. The team of the Intellectual Games Association of the Republic of Moldova organized a Family Quest, in which ANYONE could participate. The event took place within the DIALOGICA project. INCLUSION IN ACTION, with the aim of raising awareness and improving public perception of children with special educational needs.

Inclusion is a matter of the heart. Under this budget, this day took place. The participants went through different areas, where they were challenged to find answers to different riddles, perform team tasks, test their memory and feel how people with special needs organize their lives. They were challenged to enter an apartment, reach the kitchen, sit at the table and water the flowers while waiting for dinner – all while blindfolded. They tried on their own to walk in a wheelchair over some bumps and threw a ball into the basket while sitting on this wheelchair.

Families spent time together, enjoyed these outdoor activities, gained new experiences and created shared memories. The event contributed to creating an atmosphere of equality and support, emphasizing the importance of inclusion in society.

The next Family Quest will be held soon at the Zoo. Join and create new family traditions and make every day special for your family!

The project is financially supported within the Municipal Grants Program for youth organizations in the municipality of Chisinau, launched by the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center under the auspices of the Chisinau City Hall.

A new training day for the volunteers from the Youth Centers in the capital!

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center is pleased to announce the successful completion of the second day of the Volunteer Training Program. The program continues to bring together young people from the Youth Centers in Chisinau, offering them development opportunities through training sessions.

The sessions attended by the volunteers were:

  • Assertive Communication, together with Frunze Alesea
  • Work efficiency, with Zinaida Soroceanu
  • Techniques and secrets for a good speaker, with Lucia Pogor
  • The importance of volunteer activities in personal and professional development, with Grigore Vieru

During these 2 days, about 120 volunteers from the Youth Centers in the Municipality of Chisinau benefited from the first 4 training sessions. In the following period, they will participate in other thematic empowerment sessions, such as: volunteer time management, team building activities, the use of the CapCut application and the specifics of the activity as beneficiaries.

Together, we build a community of capable, responsible and engaged young people.
