The Stand-Up Comedy Club opens its doors to young comedy fans!

Young people aged between 14 and 35, passionate about comedy and eager to hone their comedic skills, are invited to a stand-up comedy session organized at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 10, at 16:00 and will be coordinated by Vlad Sliusarenco, comedian and mentor for a day.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to improvise with confidence, hone their comedy material and receive constructive feedback in an open and friendly environment. The Stand-Up Club provides a creative space where young people can experiment and learn how to develop their own comedic style.

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center announces registration for the new group of the Cooking Club, coordinated by Coralia Babcenco

Chisinau City Hall invites all young people interested in culinary art to join the Cooking Club, hosted by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center. Coordinated by the talented Mrs. Coralia Babcenco, the club offers a unique opportunity for young people to develop their culinary skills in a friendly and interactive environment.

The sessions will start on September 13 at 17:00 and will include weekly meetings, each dedicated to discovering new culinary techniques and recipes. Participants will have the opportunity to learn directly from an expert in the field, gaining practical and useful skills.

Young people from Chisinau tested for the first time the educational game “No Taboo” at the Municipal Youth Center

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center hosted a special activity where young people had the opportunity to try out for the first time the educational game “No Taboo”. The event was full of energy and enthusiasm and participants were actively involved, exploring important topics in an open and interactive way.

The “No Taboo” game allowed young people to discuss key topics such as safe behavior, health and responsible relationships. Through a fun and accessible approach, the game promotes life education and the development of key skills needed in today’s society.

“It’s more than just a game, it’s an educational tool that helps us convey important information in a friendly and effective way,” said representatives of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center.

This initiative is supported by UNFPA Moldova, which has equipped all the Youth Centers in Chisinau Municipality with this innovative game, contributing to the formation of young people in the spirit of healthy and responsible values.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center hosted a new edition of the Cooking Club, a long-awaited event for young people passionate about the culinary art. Under the guidance of the talented Ms. Coralia Babcenco, participants had the opportunity to discover modern cooking techniques and learn useful tricks from an expert in the field.

In a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, the youngsters were guided step by step by Mrs. Coralia, who gave them valuable tips and encouraged them to be creative in the kitchen. Each step of the cooking process was explained in detail and the participants were active and engaged, turning the session into an interactive and educational experience.

“It is a pleasure to see so much enthusiasm and creativity among young people. I encourage them to experiment and develop their own style in the kitchen,” said Coralia Babcenco at the end of the club.

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center continues to support the personal development of young people through various thematic clubs and activities, giving them the opportunity to explore new areas and improve their skills.

New #FreeFilter program launched at the Municipal Youth Center: Activities for young people 18+

The Municipal Youth Center announces the launch of a new program dedicated to young people aged 18-35. Under the name #FreeFilter, the event promises a series of interactive and recreational activities for those who want to have fun and relax in an energetic and friendly environment.

What activities are included?

On September 7, starting at 17:00, participants are invited to discover “No Taboo”, a new and exciting game that is part of the series. In addition to this game, young people will have the opportunity to enjoy:

  • PlayStation – for adrenaline-seeking video game lovers,
  • Table tennis – friendly competitions and good times,
  • Board games – including Alias, Mafia, Dixit and Monopoly.

This weekend’s event is just the beginning. Every Saturday, the Municipal Youth Center promises new and exciting activities designed especially for 18+ young people.

Municipal Grants Program for Youth Initiative Groups: the deadline for submitting projects has been extended until 15 September 2024!

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center has announced the extension of the project submission period for the Municipal Grants Program for youth initiative groups. This program is an opportunity for young people in Chisinau to obtain funding for projects that can bring a positive impact on the community.

Initially, the deadline for submitting projects was earlier, but the new deadline is September 15, 2024. This will give interested young people more time to form an initiative group, develop a project idea and prepare the necessary application file.

Who can apply?

In order to participate in the program, initiative groups must consist of at least three young people and the proposed projects must aim to develop and improve social, cultural, educational or environmental aspects in the municipality. This is a unique opportunity to turn young people’s ideas into reality, thus contributing to the city’s development.

How can you apply?

Interested young people can consult the program rules and download the necessary annexes for submitting the application by clicking here. Grant applications must be submitted exclusively in electronic format to the email programgranturi@gmail.com by September 15, 2024.

“No Taboo” – New educational game available in Youth Centers in Chisinau

Chisinau Youth Centers launch an exciting opportunity for young people! The game “No Taboo” is now available and ready to be tested by young people aged 15 and over. It is an interactive educational game that combines fun with learning, giving young people the chance to explore important and sensitive topics in an open and accessible way.

“No Taboo” promotes healthy, safe behaviors and responsible relationships, while helping to develop analytical, communication, decision-making and teamwork skills. The game is designed for teams of 2-6 people, providing an enjoyable and educational experience for participants.
