Support Programme for Youth Organizations in Chisinau – Consultation and Presentation

Support Program for Youth Organizations of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center is organizing an important event dedicated to youth organizations and their representatives. On September 17, 2024, at 17:30, at the headquarters of the Municipal Youth Center, located at 90 Mitropolit Varlaam Street, will take place the official presentation of the Support Program for Youth Organizations in Chisinau.

The aim of the event is to consult the programme and get feedback from youth organizations in order to improve it. The program concept, which will be unveiled in detail, aims to provide financial and logistical support for youth initiatives in the capital, thus encouraging the development of sustainable and innovative projects in various areas of interest to young people.

Youth organizations are invited to participate in this consultation session to actively contribute to the development of a programme that meets their specific needs. Representatives will have the opportunity to present their views and suggestions in a framework open to dialogue and collaboration.

Ciocana Youth Center Ciocana is hiring a Youth Worker!

Ciocana Youth Center is recruiting a Youth Worker for the following vacancy:

  1. Senior Specialist Volunteering and Youth Participation (Ciocana Sector Youth Center, 3/2 Petru Zadnipru Street) – 1 unit.

Job requirements:

  1. Know the peculiarities of psycho-social and physiological development for different developmental stages of adolescents and young people;
  2. know the rights and needs of young people;
  3. possess techniques for observing young people in their living environment, in their everyday relationships and actions;
  4. know how to apply educational methods which encourage personal development, communication, mobility, self-control, life skills and the ability to integrate young people into society;
  5. planning, teamwork, cooperation and communication skills;
  6. adaptability and flexibility in the performance of duties;

Conditions for participation:

  • Hold citizenship of the Republic of Moldova;
  • has a post-secondary university degree and/or a post-secondary non-tertiary technical/professional degree, preferably in the field of social sciences and humanities;

  • has knowledge of Romanian;
  • is medically fit (certified by a family doctor) for the performance of the duties;
  • has no criminal record (criminal record certificate);
  • has not been dismissed in the last 3 years pursuant to Article 86 (1) (l), (m) and (n) of the Labor Code (confirmed by sworn statement)

Duties and powers of the principal specialist:

  1. Drafts orders on the implementation of programs and activities for young people;
  2. organizes and implements youth programmes and activities in accordance with the approved plan;
  3. participates in capacity building courses and sessions in youth work;
  4. carries out tasks delegated by the Head of Section/Head of Youth Center in the sectors;
  5. develops the individual activity plan;

Special event at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center: Discover the FLEX Program experience

On September 18, 2024, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center is hosting an event dedicated to young people who want to learn more about the FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) Program, one of the most prestigious cultural exchange programs organized by the American Councils for International Education.

This center is dedicated to inform and actively involve young people in various educational, recreational and voluntary activities.

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center launches Municipal Personal Development Program for 18-35 year olds

Young people aged between 18 and 35 in Chisinau now have the unique opportunity to choose their own path of development through the Municipal Personal Development Program, organized by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre. This program offers participants the opportunity to explore the areas they are passionate about and work alongside top trainers who will guide them in achieving their personal and professional goals.

The program consists of five interactive sessions and additional activities designed to develop essential skills in various areas such as:

  • Developing leadership skills
  • Effective communication
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Emotional intelligence and self-reflection
  • Time and resource management

Participants will be free to choose both the area in which they wish to develop and the trainer who will facilitate the sessions.
