Creativity and inspiration at the Workshop on painting eco-bags organized by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre

The Chisinau Municipal Youth Center hosted a unique workshop dedicated to young art and design enthusiasts. Under the slogan “Creativity in action”, the event aimed to transform simple eco-bags into real works of art, and the results did not disappoint.

Participants let their imaginations run wild, using vibrant colours and unique patterns to personalize the bags. Each piece of work reflected the personality and artistic vision of the creator and the atmosphere created was full of positive energy and inspiration. The organizers praised the young people’s enthusiasm and the high level of creativity demonstrated throughout the activity.

Chisinau Municipal Youth Center continues to provide young people with opportunities for personal development and educational activities. Young people are invited to take part in activities at the Chisinau center every day from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 19:00. All activities are free of charge and open to anyone interested.

Evening full of humor at the Stand-up Club organized by the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center

A new edition of the Stand-up Club took place at the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center, an evening full of laughter and good humor with comedian Vlad Sliusarenco. Young people had the opportunity to get on stage and share their own jokes, contributing to a relaxed and energetic atmosphere.

The event brought together young people eager to express themselves in a creative and funny way, each free to show off their stand-up comedy skills. From off-the-cuff jokes to thoughtful comedy moments, the participants demonstrated that humor can be a great way to connect and unwind.

“We are delighted that we were able to give young people a space to express themselves freely, develop their creativity and have fun in a healthy way. The atmosphere was extremely positive and energetic, and there was no shortage of smiles and laughter,” said club participants.

Chisinau Youth Fest 2024: Over 100,000 young people attended the most awaited festival of the year

Chisinau’s Grand National Assembly Square was, on September 22, 2024, the host of this year’s biggest youth event – Chisinau Youth Fest 2024. The festival gathered over 100,000 participants, transforming the heart of the capital into an explosion of energy and enthusiasm.

The event, organized by the Chisinau City Hall, the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport of the Chisinau Municipality and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre, brought together young people from all over the country, who enjoyed a day full of activities, concerts and surprises.

Representatives of the organizers said that this festival is just the beginning of a series of events dedicated to young people and invited everyone to stay tuned for details about the next incendiary activities.

“Thanks to everyone for the energy created together at this long-awaited event! It was a success thanks to you, and we are already preparing other surprises that will be announced soon,” the organizers said.

Extended Public Transport Program in Chisinau for #ChisinauYouthFest2024

Chisinau City Hall has good news for the participants of Chisinau Youth Fest 2024, the most awaited youth festival this year! To ensure an easier and more comfortable travel after the event, the authorities have announced the extension of the schedule of several trolleybus and bus routes on the festival night.

Thus, on September 22, public transport will run until 01:30, allowing participants to get home safely and without worry.

The routes concerned by this extension are:

  • Trolleybuses: nos. 4, 8, 10, 12, 22, 25
  • Buses: no. 2, 5, 23, 33, 46

The festival will take place in the center of the capital and organizers promise an evening full of music, fun and activities dedicated to young people. Chișinău Youth Fest 2024 is a major event in the city’s cultural agenda, bringing well-known artists on stage and providing a space for socializing and entertainment for young people in Chisinau.

The City Hall encourages all young people to participate in this event and to take advantage of the measures taken to facilitate public transportation on the night of the festival.

The event starts at 18:00 and admission is free.

10 Youth Projects Financially Supported by Chisinau City Hall through the Municipal Grant Program

The Chisinau City Hall has announced the results of the first edition of the Municipal Grants Program for Initiative Groups, through which ten projects of young people from the capital will receive financial support this year. The program is a first for the city and aims to encourage the involvement of young people in the development of the community through creative initiatives with social impact.

The ten projects selected for funding are:

  1. Youth Empowerment Hub – a project dedicated to developing leadership skills and civic participation among young people.
  2. InovaTed Dialogues – an initiative promoting innovative dialog in education and technological solutions to today’s challenges.
  3. Involvement = Development = Impact – project emphasizing the active participation of young people in community development processes.
  4. Content Creators Training School – educational platform supporting young people in creating quality digital content.
  5. Together we increase the effectiveness of legal socialization in Chisinau municipality – a project that promotes legal knowledge among young Chisinau residents.
  6. Our Future without Drugs – a campaign to raise awareness and prevent drug use among young people.
  7. Youth – Future Leaders – initiative preparing young people for leadership roles in the local community.
  8. Volunteers in Action – project mobilizing and involving young volunteers in various community activities.
  9. MindLaw & EconHack: Innovating for Mental Health Awareness – project combining technology and law to promote mental health.
  10. Career Compass – career guidance platform for young people seeking a career path.

The program was launched to support youth initiatives and create a positive impact in the community. “We are happy to see the increased interest of young men and women in Chisinau in this program. We wish them every success in implementing their projects and achieving the proposed objectives,” said the City Hall representatives.

This is the first edition of the Municipal Grants Program for Initiative Groups, and the organizers hope that the program will become an annual tradition, attracting even more initiatives from young people eager to contribute to the development of Chisinau.

The Municipal Program for Personal Development has been launched in Chisinau: Open registration for young people from 14 to 17 years old!

Young people in Chisinau have the opportunity to participate in the Municipal Personal Development Program, an initiative designed to help them discover their potential and build a successful future. The event is part of the #FreeFilter program and is dedicated to young people over 18 who want to discuss topics related to sexual health and intimate relationships without prejudice.

Mariana Bularga, an experienced sexologist, will answer participants’ questions and offer valuable advice in a friendly and safe environment.
