Chisinau buzzed with energy and excitement at #CoolParty 2024, an event that brought together over 7,000 young people to celebrate National Youth Day and International Students’ Day. The evening was marked by a spectacular artistic program, specially designed to reflect the tastes and preferences of young people in the capital.

Popular artists and renowned DJs, such as DJ Max Bolotov, Pasha Parfeni, Nicole Cherry, Killa Fonic and Tzanca Uraganu, took to the stage, providing the audience with memorable moments and an electrifying atmosphere.

The event, organized by the Chisinau City Hall, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport (DGETS) and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre, highlighted the strength and unity of the youth community. The young participants showed that, regardless of their differences, they are united by the same values: involvement, creativity and the desire to contribute to a better future.

With their contagious energy and innovative spirit, the young people turned this celebration into an unforgettable event, confirming once again that they are the most #CoolTiners of their generation.

Young people in Chisinau will have access to state-of-the-art technology in the capital’s youth centers, thanks to a generous donation from YMCA Moldova. The organization has provided 30 complete gaming sets, which will be used to set up dedicated rooms in each youth centre.

The new gaming rooms will give young people the opportunity to develop their digital skills, socialize and participate in competitions and educational gaming activities.

The rooms will be available to the public from next year and access will be free for all young people.

YMCA Moldova and the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center aim to support young people’s creativity and personal development through this initiative, transforming youth centers into attractive and modern places.

In the context of the Youth Week in Chisinau, the Chisinau Municipal Youth Centre, in collaboration with the Youth Centres of Cricova and Trușeni, organized a memorable exchange of experience for young people from the capital and suburbs. The activity provided a unique opportunity for development and socialization among the participants, creating an atmosphere of friendship and collaboration.

Youth Bus and a dynamic itinerary

Young people traveled around the city on the “Youth Bus,” stopping at the Cricova and Trușeni Youth Centers for interactive team building sessions. Activities were carefully structured to develop team spirit and collaboration, facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences between participants.

DJ and Karaoke party at the end of the day

The evening ended at the Buiucani Youth Center with a DJ and Karaoke party with Mary Sy, where young people enthusiastically celebrated National Youth Day, celebrated annually on the second Sunday of November. At the end, the lucky ones won surprise prizes in exchange for the travel tickets they received at the beginning of the event.

The event was made possible with the support of the Urban Bus Park, which contributed to the success of this initiative to mobilize and connect young people.
