January 18, 2025 Horoscope: The Universe Has New Jokes for Your Vibe

  • Aries: Today you feel like a team leader at an impromptu football championship. You have good ideas, but don’t try to control everything. Let the others kick the ball, not just passes!
  • Taurus: Comfort is your life, but today someone might take you out of zen. Don’t get angry, Taurus, make yourself a tea, put on your favorite playlist and ignore them until they realize they can’t move you.
  • Gemini: You feel like talking to anyone today, including the neighbor at 4 who is always fixing something. But be careful, too many discussions and you risk becoming the radio of your group. Cut more of the news.
  • Cancer: You’re in a super emotional mood, like “how to cry on a 30-second TikTok”. Relax, sometimes things are not as intense as they seem. Take a break from scrolling.
  • Leo: Today you feel like a superstar, but don’t forget that others are also on stage with you. Give them a moment of glory, otherwise you will stay with the fans only on paper.
  • Virgo: Today you organize everything. To-do list, closet, maybe even friends’ lives. But be careful not to become obsessive, the world is already complicated enough without measuring every inch.
  • Libra: You wonder whether to have lunch out or stay at home. The decision of the day seems complicated, but don’t stress too much. Anyway, you end up sharing chips with friends in the evening.
  • Scorpio: You’re in the mood for motivational speeches or intense debates. But be careful not to take everything too personally. Sometimes, it’s just a discussion, not a duel.
  • Sagittarius: Today you feel like an explorer. You may not discover a new island, but who knows, you’ll find a cool café or a hidden spot in the city. Bring your friends, so you don’t get lost alone.
  • Capricorn: You are practical and focused, but today you need a break from seriousness. Do something spontaneous, like karaoke with friends or a marathon of cringe movies. It’s good to laugh!
  • Aquarius: Today you are full of ideas and creativity. You’ll probably save a project with a super random solution. But don’t forget to take a break, because genius without rest doesn’t sound good.
  • Pisces: You’re in a poetic and dreamy mood. You feel like hanging out with friends and talking about “life and the universe.” Be yourself, but leave the philosophy if your friends start yawning.

Conclusion: January 18 comes with energy, surprises and a good dose of humor. Enjoy the vibes and don’t forget that every day is better with a little relaxation and nice friends!

VOX: Social networks: ally or enemy? Time spent online and the effects on young people

Social media is everywhere – in our phones, in our daily routines, and even in our conversations. They are a powerful tool to discover new opportunities, but excessive use can generate negative effects.

The time spent by young people on social networks varies considerably, from: “A day, about two hours, three” to “Almost all day”.

Another young man mentioned to us “It depends, if it is a less working day, if it is a more rest day”.

At the moment, there is a wide range of content available on social networks, and everyone has their preferences.

“As for cooking recipes, something funny and fashion more” says the young woman.

But in the top was TikTok: “More TikTok for funny videos”; “TikTok, more jokes and football” the young people answered.

While social media provides opportunities to connect and learn, young people recognise that overuse can come with less desirable effects.

“It gives me an idea of what outfits to wear to work, what menu to cook, there are ingenious and quick recipes and I spend time, so it goes by faster,” said a young woman.

“Some can contribute well, others negatively, but I assume that most of them are good,” the young woman replied

One of the young people told us: “For me it contributes because I am passionate about traveling, about their experiences of living in other countries”.

This trend shows how much social media has become an integral part of young people’s daily routines, raising questions about the balance between the digital and real worlds.

Impact of previous editions – Established in 2022, the Cooking Club has quickly become one of the most appreciated projects of the Chisinau Municipal Youth Center. In 2024, 42 sessions were held, attended by about 450 young people.

The year 2025: The perfect time to take care of your reproductive health

Health is our most precious treasure, and in 2025 you have the chance to prioritize personal care. Reproductive health, an often neglected topic, plays a key role in overall well-being and the prevention of long-term medical problems.

For many young women, visiting the gynecologist can seem intimidating or unnecessary in the absence of symptoms. However, this is the key to a healthy life. A routine gynecological checkup not only identifies possible problems before they become serious, but also provides the opportunity to receive essential information about your body and how it works.

Reproductive health education is about more than protecting against sexually transmitted diseases. It’s about knowledge, prevention and trust. Even without visible symptoms, prevention is always more effective than treatment. A gynecologist can help you understand the changes your body is going through, identify possible imbalances and discuss the best methods of protection and intimate hygiene.

Myths about oral contraceptives:

A common myth about oral contraceptives is that all women who use them gain weight. In reality, weight changes are influenced by other factors such as diet, lifestyle, and genetic inheritance, and the pills themselves are not a direct cause.

Many young women also fear that the use of birth control pills could affect their fertility in the long term. This is not true because fertility returns to normal immediately or shortly after discontinuing contraceptives.

Another widespread myth is that the pills provide protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Although effective in preventing unwanted pregnancies, oral contraceptives do not protect against infections, so the use of condoms remains essential.

There is also the misperception that birth control pills increase the risk of cancer. In reality, studies show that they can reduce the risk of ovarian and uterine cancer, and their long-term use, under the supervision of a doctor, is considered safe.

These myths continue to create confusion, but the right information can help teenage girls make the right decisions.

This year, start with a simple but important gesture: make an appointment for a gynecological consultation. Not only will you learn more about your health, but you’ll be able to make sure you’re doing everything you can to protect your body.

For more information about reproductive health or to schedule a consultation, contact CSPT Amigos, Buiucani Sector. It awaits you in a friendly, safe and confidential environment but also on the CSPT Amigos Facebook page, Buiucani Sector.

Take care of yourself, and your body will thank you!
