Enter Dignityland: Young people from Chisinau become parliamentarians for a day and create the future of a just society

On March 7, young people from Chisinau are invited to take part in a unique experience that will allow them to become “parliamentarians” of an imaginary country. The “Enter Dignityland!” event offers an interactive setting where participants will have the opportunity to take on the roles of political decision-makers and influence the direction of a fictional society.

The activity will take place at the MilleniuM Youth Educational Center, located at 196 Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, starting at 17:30. Participants, aged 12 years and over, will be able to engage in a negotiation and argumentation exercise, and their aim will be to create a 5-year development plan for “Dignityland”.

In this workshop, young people will learn about the importance of social rights and how public policies can contribute to creating a just society. Every choice they will make will have an impact on the future of their “country” and will give them a deep understanding of the decision-making process in a democratic system.

The event is an excellent opportunity for young people to develop their negotiation skills and better understand how they can influence change in their community.

Registration is by filling in an online form available here. Come and discover how important it is to make decisions that can change the course of history!

Significant increase in the number of young people participating in the activities of youth centers in Chisinau

The interest of young people in the activities organized by Chisinau Youth Centers is growing. In February there were 6 264 visits, almost double the number in January, when the number of beneficiaries was 3 730. This increase demonstrates young people’s growing interest in personal development, volunteering, non-formal education and active leisure activities.

Also, in February, 1 010 young people were informed about the opportunities available through the “I’m Young – I’m Informed” campaign, which contributed to a greater awareness of the benefits of youth centers.

This upward trend reflects young people’s desire to get involved and develop their skills through participation in educational and volunteering programs. Youth Centers in Chisinau remain an essential space for developing communication, leadership and planning skills, as well as for building an active and supportive community.

Involvement in such activities is crucial for the personal and professional development of young people, giving them the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop self-confidence and contribute to positive change in the community.
